Reading to my kids

I remember before I had kids I had all of these ideas about what I would and definitely wouldn't do as a mom. And while I try to remain true to that list, most of the things have gone out the window as survival mode means I do the best that I can, at that moment in time. But one thing that I really do try to always stick to is reading books to my boys. Yes, sometimes I skip pages (at least with the younger one, the older one corrects me if I even skip a word) and sometimes I intentionally select the shortest options, but usually I love our routine of two books and two songs at bedtime.


This is one list of 50 books to read to your kids. And here are some of my personal favorites, even when you have to read them over and over and over again :)
